How it all began
It all began at the COP24 world climate conference about a year ago, when a group of European Railway Undertakings founded the Rail Freight Forward coalition, with the aim of shifting more freight to the environmentally friendly rails in order to protect the climate.
To draw the attention of the public to this topic Rail Freight Forward sent the climate ambassador Noahs Train on its way through Europe.
With two containers the train started in Katowice, Poland.
Today it is a strong European movement. And the longest mobile work of art.
We are looking back to a journey of more than 10 months and a brilliant Anniversary Event at the Port of Rotterdam on 11 October.
Joining forces
For the first time, competitors in the highly competitive rail freight market are working together on ONE vision. Because everyone is aware that a modal change can only work together.
Noah's Train, our climate ambassador, will be present at the next global UN climate conference COP25. With it, its message will be reinforced: to increase rail transport to 30 percent by 2030 and thus protect our climate.
